If you were one of the kids who had a fast car, constant glances through your rear-view mirror became second nature. And the "TAP,TAP,TAP" sound of a flashlight on a fogged-up window while you were parked with your date... "Ah, we have a lot to thank them for.." |

| Yes, it's true!, we felt loved, nurtured and protected. Today it's not the same, in our day we got to know each officer, we knew their names and where they parked to watch for speeders, just incase we needed a policeman, we could always fine one. |

The fact is they kept us out of a lot of trouble. To the officers, I'm sure we helped make your life interesting, giving your workday that special magic. |
